Pedal Kids USA at Tinkerfest 2024: Inspiring Creativity and Confidence!

Tinkerfest 2024 was a huge success, and Pedal Kids USA was proud to be part of this incredible day of hands-on discovery and community connection at the Scott Family Amazeum! The event was filled with stories of creativity, growth, and newfound confidence—and our booth was right in the middle of it, introducing kids to biking and some basic maintenance on them, while encouraging them to try something new and exciting.

We saw children light up as they took a wheel off for the first time,  and watched as families came together to explore a fun perspective on bikes that many don’t get to see- all the PARTS! Whether it was a kid cranking on a pedal for the first time or watching their mom do it, the energy and excitement were contagious!

Just like soldering a new connection or building a fort out of cardboard, learning to ride a bike taps into that same spirit of curiosity and resilience. Pedal Kids USA was there to show how biking can be another tool for children to explore, build confidence, and feel empowered.

One of the most special parts of the day was seeing children and adults alike realize that they can do anything, and working with bikes is easier than they thought! At Pedal Kids USA, we believe that biking can play a major role in unlocking that confidence and building lifelong skills.

As we look ahead to more community events like Tinkerfest, we’re excited to continue our mission to get more kids on bikes and more families riding together. Being a part of Tinkerfest was a reminder of how important it is to stay connected with the community and to keep creating spaces where kids can grow and thrive.
