BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Pedal Kids USA, a national youth cycling program out of Bentonville, launched an app in April that aims to eliminate location barriers for childhood biking.

The app tracks biking skill development, features expert content and resources, has sign-up options for Pedal Kids classes and camps, and hosts community-based ride challenges. And there’s more to come, according to Ben Figueroa, communications manager at Pedal Kids.

The app is built on Familyworks, a Bentonville-based app development platform. Familyworks is the developer behind many regional youth programs and YMCA apps.
