PRESCHOOL LEARN TO PEDAL

Ages 3+

Children love every stage of learning to ride thanks to our incredible certified coaches who weave our unique 4-week Learn to Pedal curriculum into age appropriate play-based challenges and games. Students will first learn the fundamentals of balancing a bike without pedals and without training wheels thanks to our no-pedal glide method of teaching that helps develop the muscle memory and confidence needed to pedal independently. Each following week students will expand their cycling knowledge, skills, and distance. Key Information:
  • Child must be 3 years old, gliding confidently on a balance bike already, and be interested in pedaling – we do not force pedaling at this age
  • A helmet and operational bicycle that allows the child to put their feet flat on the ground while sitting on the seat is required (rental bikes available upon request for additional fees)

You can also have fun by using chalk to create a bike course in your driveway, on your street, or at the park. This will give them a chance to practice their skills in a playful and supportive environment. Remember, celebrating their little wins helps build confidence and keeps them excited about learning to ride!

At-Home Practice Suggestions:

– Encouragement: Celebrate their efforts and progress. Positive reinforcement will boost their confidence.
– Engage: Ask about what they learned and enjoyed during their classes. It’s a great way to reinforce their learning and show that you’re interested.

– Practice Together: Create a fun, safe course with chalk in your driveway or at a local park. This hands-on practice will help reinforce their skills and make learning enjoyable.
