DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the workshop! \nWe’re teaming up with the folks at Bentonville Moves Coalition\, the Bentonville Fire Dept.\, & the Bentonville School Board to offer something special for both kids AND parents! \nWe’re getting ready for Ride to School week coming up on April 29- May 3 with TWO separate workshops offered at FOUR different locations over the course of one week. \n\nParent Safe Ride Leader Workshop\nLearn to Pedal Workshop\n\n  \nThe Safe Ride Leader Workshop is meant to equip Parents and Kiddos with the knowledge and skills to confidently and safely ride to School\, and how to best operate as ride leaders for a bunch of kiddos! We’ll go over things like: \n\nBreaking down the skills needed to ride with others on low-traffic neighborhood streets\nHolding a straight line\nEmergency braking\nGood Listening Skills\, Good communication skills\, Being friendly and helpful toward fellow riders\, Taking commands and instructions well\nRiding safely and not speeding\, and Following good greenway etiquette as instructed by parents.\n\nThe Learn to Pedal Workshop is for all kiddos still earning their pedals! We’ll run through ALL the basics of learning to pedal with expert coaches and curriculum. This workshops creates a playful\, interactive\, and fun atmosphere of parent and coach collaboration with to help students work toward pedaling in a safe and confident way. \n  \nThe Bicycle Rodeos are FREE and are a great way to get your family riding safely and closer to biking together! DESCRIPTION:Get ready for another Noon2Moon with a kids twist! \nPedal Kids USA is joining the fun at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve with a kids race\, a bicycle playground\, and a whole Summer Camp packed into one session! \n\nNoon2Moon\, Coler Mountain Bike Preserve’s 3rd annual mountain bike race\, returns May 4th!\nAs Coler’s only fundraiser\, Noon2Moon is your chance to support the Preserve and all the amazing people that make it the best mountain biking destination in the country! \nRegister solo or gather some friends and race as a team. In it to win it? Complete the most laps within 6 hours to win! \nBring the whole family to Packet Pick-Up happening 2:00 PM-7:00 PM on Friday\, May 3rd. DESCRIPTION:Expect an enduro for the 6-14 years old ones on Saturday May 25th with 5 fun stages all over Coler MTB Preserve.\n\nSchedule\nSaturday May 25th Kids enduro hosted by Pedal Kids USA. \n\nKids enduro boys 13-14 (NEW\, your Saturday ticket gives you also access to ride on Sunday in the adult 13-14 yo category)\nKids enduro girls 13-14 (NEW\, your Saturday ticket gives you also access to ride on Sunday in the adult 13-14 yo category)\nKids enduro boys 11-12\nKids enduro girls 11-12\nKids enduro boys 9-10\nKids enduro girls 9-10\nKids enduro boys 6-8\nKids enduro girls 6-8\n\nRider info \n\nAid stations included for both enduros\nHelmet is obligatory\, full face helmets are highly recommended\nKnee and elbow pads are obligatory\nAge groups: your ‘racing age’ should be how old you are on the last day of the year (12/31/24)\nThe trails you are racing on are technically still open to the public\, in case someone wants to pass\, let them go through and say hello\n*If you make it to the podium\, please make sure you are near main stage for the official prize giving ceremony\nParking will be available on site for registered riders only ➡️ Click here to navigate towards the Bentonville Bike Fest venue.
